Ohayo! Today's recipe is an absolute delight for all the seafood lovers out there - Ikan Siakap Bakar Tom Yam. The fusion of Thai and Malaysian cuisine is surely going to leave your taste buds craving for more. So, let's get started with the ingredients.

Ingredients:

- 500g of Siakap fish

- 1 tablespoon of tamarind

- 2 tablespoons of lime juice

- 5-6 pieces of kaffir lime leaves

- 2 tablespoons of chopped ginger

- 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic

- 2 tablespoons of chili paste

- 1 tablespoon of sugar

- 1 tablespoon of fish sauce

- Salt to taste

- 2-3 tablespoons of oil

Instructions:

1. First, clean the Siakap fish properly and pat dry it with a tissue paper. Make small cuts on the fish to marinate it well.

2. In a bowl, mix tamarind, lime juice, and salt. Then, rub the mixture all over the fish and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.

3. In a pan, heat oil and sauté ginger, garlic and kaffir lime leaves until fragrant.

4. Add chili paste, sugar, and fish sauce to the pan and mix well.

5. Now, add the marinated Siakap fish to the pan and coat it properly with the seasoning.

6. Cook the fish for around 10-15 minutes on each side until it is perfectly cooked.

7. Finally, garnish the fish with some chopped coriander and serve hot with some rice and a lemon wedge on the side.
